Gas Logs

Gas logs are designed to replace wood-burning in conventional masonry or zero-clearance fireplaces with working chimneys. They provide an authentic wood-burning appearance, complete with dancing yellow flames and glowing embers!  All our gas log sets use individually crafted logs, not pinned or stuck together.  Gaslogs provide instant radiant warmth with total convenience and no dirty ashes!

Peterson's Split Oak

The Robert H. Peterson Company has been manufacturing gaslogs for fifty years. Peterson Company specializes in gaslogs, and is considered one of the premier manufacturers today. The SPLIT-OAK, pictured at the left, is their "signature" log. The hand-painted detail and high definition bark provide a natural wood-like appearance. The adjustable control allows the user to vary flame height to any desired setting. Several other log styles are available.

They are very realistic and made from a durable clay-cement composition. They will radiate a fair amount of heat and the split and charred log looks incredibly real! There are also glowing embers and a heavy grate which are also included. As for any logset, you may purchase our Gas Log Accessory Kit, AC-1, which contain Platinum Bright Embers (among other pertinent items). Platinum Bright Embers glow much noticeably brighter than any other ember; a very enjoyable effect! Come in to our showroom to see one burning in person - we're sure you'll be happy with our newest gas log addition!

The American Oak offers a full log setup, with rough bark texture and a few extra logs on top.  Ideal for changing around the configuration of the logs.  Full flame and log design gives it a stand out appearance.

concentric valve used in gas logs The Concentric valve that is used in all of our gas logs is superior to the Robert Shaw valve because it is solid brass, which has a higher temperature rating, no wires exposed, a much lower profile, control knob in front - away from flame, an external pressure regulator, greater weight and leads to a full pan burner system that provides a much larger flame.
