This is what a direct vent gas fireplace should look like!  This "clean face" unit is all glass and has the look of a real masonry fireplace, but with the flexibility of a direct-vent installation.  Notice how there is very little metal showing on this unit?  Most gas fireplaces will have louvers or chunky faceplates, showing more metal than glass.  This unit is 1,080 sq inches of glass!!
